The Perfect Waffle

Ingredients

Waffles
2 Eggs
2 cups All-purpose flour
1¾ cups Meyenberg Whole Goat Milk or Low-Fat
½ cup Vegetable oil
1 tbsp Granulated sugar
4 tsp Baking powder
¼ tsp Salt
½ tsp Vanilla extract
Toppings
3 tbsp Meyenberg Goat Milk Butter, or more to taste
½ cups Fresh fruit, like blueberries or raspberries
¼ cups Toasted seeds or nuts
Some Maple syrup or honey, to taste
Dash of Cinnamon, optional

Preparation

  1. Heat the waffle maker. Add the eggs to a large mixing bowl and beat until fluffy. Whisk in the flour, goat milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt, and vanilla. Once smooth set aside. Spray the waffle maker with a non-stick spray. Evenly pour in the mixture and cook until golden. This should take about 4-7 minutes. Top with butter, fruit, nuts or seeds, syrup, and a dash of cinnamon just before serving.
