Rules of Engagement Meyenberg “Taste a Masterpiece” Social Media Sweepstakes

These rules (“Official Rules”) are the complete, official rules for the Meyenberg “Taste a Masterpiece” Social Media Sweepstakes.

 

1. Sponsor

The “Taste a Masterpiece” Social Media Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Darey Brands Inc. (“Sponsor”). 

This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
Instagram is released from all responsibility by each entrant.

 

2. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
  • This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void outside the United States and where prohibited by law.
  • Employees of Darey Brands Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible.

To be eligible, all entries must be submitted from a public Instagram account. Entries submitted from private or restricted accounts will not be visible to Sponsor and will not qualify for entry.

Sponsor is the sole judge of eligibility and may determine that a Submission or Participant is ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes for a variety of reasons not described here but at the sole discretion of Sponsor.

Participant’s participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes Participant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. By participating in the Sweepstakes and submitting an Entry, Participant expressly agrees to participate in supporting marketing and other promotions and endorsements for Sponsor and its partners.

 

3. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins May 4th , 2026 at 12:00 AM PT and ends June 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT (“Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeper. Entries received after the Sweepstakes Period will not be considered valid submissions.

 

4. How to Enter

A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

Standard Entry (1 Entry Each)

Participants may earn one (1) entry for each of the following actions:

  • Following @Meyenberg  on Instagram
  • Liking the official Sweepstakes post on Instagram
  • Tagging a friend in the comments of the Sweepstakes post on Instagram

 

Bonus Entry – “Create Your Masterpiece” (10 Entries)

Participants may earn ten (10) additional entries by:

  1. Creating an original photo or video “Masterpiece”
  2. Posting it publicly on Instagram
  3. Tagging @Meyenberg on Instagram
  4. Clearly connecting the creation to Meyenberg (e.g., product usage, brand reference, incorporating brand purple or goats)
  5. Using the hashtag #MyMeyenbergMasterpiece on Instagram

Submissions may include, but are not limited to, recipes, artwork, short videos, music, poetry, pottery, crafts, or other original creative expressions.

 

5. Entry Limitations & Fair Play

  • Entrants may not create multiple Instagram accounts to enter the Sweepstakes
  • Entrants may not submit the same or substantially similar content more than once
  • Any attempt to artificially increase entries or manipulate the Sweepstakes may result in disqualification at Sponsor’s sole discretion

All decisions regarding eligibility and disqualification are at the sole discretion of Sponsor and are final.

 

6. Disclosure Requirements for Bonus Entries

Bonus‑entry posts constitute an incentivized submission and must clearly disclose participation in a sweepstakes.

Acceptable disclosures include:

  • #MyMeyenbergMasterpiece 
  • #Sweepstakes 

Disclosures must be clear, conspicuous, and included in the caption.

 

7. Content Guidelines

All submitted content must:

  • Be original and created by the entrant
  • Comply with Instagram’s Community Guidelines and all applicable laws
  • Not include unlawful, defamatory, misleading, offensive, or infringing material
  • Not include false or unsubstantiated product or health claims
  • Not encourage inaccurate tagging (e.g., tagging individuals not featured in the content)

Sponsor reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry that does not meet these requirements.

 

8. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”)

The following winners will be selected at the end of the Sweepstakes Period from among all the eligible entries in a random drawing.

  • First Prize (1 winner): $1,000 USD cash
  • Second Prize (1 winner): One (1) year of Meyenberg product (50 free product coupons). The ARV of Second Prize is $380.00.
  • Third Prize (1 winner): One (1) month of Meyenberg product (5 free product coupons). The ARV of Third Prize is $40.00.

The total approximate retail value of all prizes is $1,450.00 USD, including free shipping. The ARV of each prize represents Sponsor’s good faith determination.

Prizes are non‑transferable and no substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. No cash or other substitution may be made except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value for any reason as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The winners will be responsible for all applicable federal and local taxes on the receipt and use of the prize and all other costs and expenses not specifically mentioned herein. You agree that Sponsor shall not be liable for any damages or losses you incur using or related to the Prize.

 

9. Winner Selection & Notification

Winners will be selected on July 1st at 7 AM PT by random drawing from all eligible entries received.

Participants may only win one prize during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries. All entries are subject to verification of eligibility by the Sponsor. All decisions regarding prize awards will be made by Sponsor and are final and binding. In the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, or if the prize is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner drawn from remaining eligible entries.

Winners will be notified via Instagram Direct Message. Failure to respond within 48 hours may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner. By accepting the Prize, the Winner represents that he/she has complied with these Official Rules. A Participant may decline to be a Winner by notifying Sponsor within one (1) business day following notification, in which case the declining Participant forgoes any prize or other features associated with winning the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify a Participant if Sponsor deems disqualification appropriate.

The Prize winner will receive the prize through U.S. Mail, as appropriate. Allow 30 days from final confirmation for Prize delivery.

A list of Sweepstakes Winners will be available upon request. By accepting your prize, you agree to have your name provided as a Sweepstakes Winner upon request by any Sweepstakes Participant or other third party.

 

10. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize receipt.

As required by law:

  • Winners of prizes with a value of $600 or more may be required to complete and return an IRS Form W‑9 prior to prize fulfillment.
  • Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the prize awarded, as required by applicable law.

Failure to provide required tax documentation within 5 business days after being notified as winner may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected. 

 

11. Rights Granted by Entrants

By submitting a bonus entry, entrants grant Darey Brands Inc. and its affiliates a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide license to use, repost, reproduce, modify, and display submitted content for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes, with or without attribution, unless prohibited by law.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree that Darey Brands Inc. and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, as applicable, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees are not responsible or liable for:

  • Any losses, injuries, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize
  • Any technical malfunctions of computers, networks, hardware, software, or transmissions
  • Any entries that are late, lost, misdirected, tampered with, corrupted, incomplete, illegible, mutilated, or otherwise not in compliance with these Rules
  • Any injury or damage to an entrant’s or third party’s computer or device related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or use of any prize

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes in the event it becomes technically corrupted or compromised.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Participant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor, its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, as applicable, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising out of your participation in or association with the Sweepstakes or the Sweepstakes Prize.

 

13. Participant Warranties and Obligations

By submitting an entry to the Sweepstakes, you agree that you have full right and authority to enter and participate in the Sweepstakes. You are solely responsible for your entry. All entry information is deemed collected in the United States.

Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. You are responsible for checking applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction before participating in the Sweepstakes to make sure that your participation is legal. You are responsible for all taxes and reporting related to any award that you may receive as part of the Sweepstakes.

Each Participant is solely responsible for all costs he/she incurs to participate in the Sweepstakes. By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that you have the right and authority to make the entry on your own behalf and that your entry: (i) does not contain confidential information; (ii) does not violate the rights of privacy of any person or entity; and (iii) does not and will not violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance, rule, or regulation.

A breach of any of these warranties will result in the corresponding entry being invalid, as well as other legal obligations.

 

14. Reservation of Rights

Sponsor reserves the right to modify the dates and deadlines, and the right to modify, add, or remove additional Sweepstakes deadlines for any reason. Sponsor may cancel the Sweepstakes entirely, not award the prize, or select an alternate prize if awarding the Sweepstakes Prize as originally described or on the original time frame becomes commercially unreasonable arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces beyond its control, including, without limitation, strikes, pandemics, government orders related to a pandemic, work stoppages, accidents, acts of war or terrorism, civil or military disturbances, nuclear or natural catastrophes or acts of God, and interruptions, loss, or malfunctions of utilities, communications, or computer (software and hardware) services. Any changes will be communicated via Instagram or on www.meyenberg.com.

 

15. Privacy

Information collected from entrants will be used solely for Sweepstakes administration and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy practices and applicable laws.

 

16. Governing Law and Venue

This Sweepstakes and any claims arising from or related to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Darey Brands Inc. is headquartered, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

Participant agrees that: (a) Claims arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or the prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and solely and exclusively in a federal or state court located in California; (b) Participant submits to sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction to said courts in the State of California for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (c) any and all Claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual damages of out-of-pocket expenses associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (d) under no circumstances will Participant be permitted to obtain awards for and Participant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages or any other damages, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

 

17. Severability

The invalidity or un-enforceability of any provision of these Sweepstakes Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Sweepstakes Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision was not contained herein.

 

18. State‑Specific Disclosures

California

  • California residents waive the provisions of California Civil Code Section 1542, which states:
    “A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in their favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by them must have materially affected their settlement with the debtor.”

By entering the Sweepstakes, California residents agree that this release applies to any and all claims related to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

 

New York

  • For New York residents, the Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
  • If the total approximate retail value (ARV) of all prizes exceeds $5,000, Sponsor will comply with all applicable New York registration, bonding, and filing requirements prior to awarding prizes.
  • Winners may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release as a condition of prize award.

 

Florida

  • For Florida residents, the Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
  • If the total ARV of all prizes exceeds $5,000, Sponsor will file a copy of these Official Rules and register the Sweepstakes with the State of Florida in accordance with Florida law prior to awarding prizes.
  • Winners may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release as a condition of receiving a prize.
